3D Printed art and product design
Mathematical expression
I wanted to manufacture objects for the home and office which are manufactured with more complexity - varying topology and form in interesting ways - that can only be achieved via 3D printing.
make the mundane colorful
I am designing objects to replace things which are traditionally bland, mass produced, and lacking character let alone color. Objects like light switches and outlet covers, table lamps and organizers, or test tube racks and benchtop aids.
Add dimension to classics
I am inspired by the woodcut and relief works of artists like M.C. Escher and Hokusai, as well as the cubist and abstract sculpture of Jacques Lipchitz and Duchamp-Villon.
